Everyday 91 million searches happen on Google.com. However, digging through a claimed 2,000,000,000 pages to find one little piece of information can be hard. So, I wanted to start this helpful site with some nice tricks to help you search. Now, I will tell you that I am a big fan of Google.com, not just for its useful search engine but, more for their group of innovators and, their goal to help organize the worlds data.
Anyways, lets get started. First thing you want to do is to bring up Google.com (You can click on the colored text link to see more about things I may not talk about much). You will notice that the site is clean and, lacking ads and, cluttered news stories that might hid the search bar.

Googles Home Page
As you can see in the picture above googles site is simple, it allows users to search with great speed and results making searching fun and easy. You will notice googles title will sometimes look different based on the day that you visit the site. If you visit on Halloween you would have seen googles leters as droodles (A picture that is maybe makes the “G” in Google a pumkin). However most everyday you will see this same logo. Under the logo is the famous search bar.

The Search Bar and Buttons
The search bar is where you will type your search and then you will hit the “Google Search” button. Now, most people wonder what the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button is about, this button will instead of giving you a list of pages, will just send you to the first page that comes up in the search results.
Okay, so I explained a bit about the main homepage of Google, now lets start learning how to use Google to find information you need. Lets say that you have a friend that collects “Hotwheels” cars and, he is trying to find the rare 1975 van. He has no clue how to use the internet, and you who took this simple lesson and, now can search all day and night. He comes to you for advice. So with that you guys need to look for this car. First, start by going to Google.com, now in the search bar we want to give google as much information we know about this car your friend is telling us about. First we know its a Hotwheels.

"hotwheels", Google also trying to guess
As your typing this in Google is going to guess at what you are trying to find based on status it has collected from other users like you. So what else do we know about this toy. Well, we know thats it its a toy!

We added "Toy" after "Hotwheels"
We also know that this car is rare and also that it is not a car but, a van. It was also made in the year 1975. So what would we add for all this information.

We add the rest of the details!
We add the other information we have like in the picture above. Now remember what I said about the 2 different buttons. Well, “Google Search” will bring up a result page with a list of results, and “I’m Feeling Lucky” will bring up the first result of the search if you were to use “Google Search”. So, if your bored of looking at pages of results that next search you might just be lucky enough to find the information your looking for right on the first site.
